Temple hosts Maha Mariamman prayer

The prayer will commence on Friday, July 19 with hawan at 18:30, thereafter bhajans will be rendered in praise of Mother Sathi.

The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramaniar Temple warmly invites the community to its annual Maha Mariamman prayer (Porridge prayer) from July 19 to 21.

The temple’s chariot will be visiting the surrounding areas of Port Shepstone on Sunday, July 14, from 09:00, for devotees to offer their prayers to Mother Sathi.

The prayer will commence on Friday, July 19, with hawan at 18:30; thereafter, bhajans will be rendered in praise of Mother Sathi.

The temple will host its annual Gangai Amman prayer on Saturday, July 20. Hawan will commence at 13:30 at the temple, thereafter proceeding to My Den beach at 15:00.

The annual Maha Mariamman prayer will be held on Sunday, July 21. Hawan starts at 08:00; thereafter, bhajans will be rendered.

Lunch will be served. All are welcome.
