Influential award for Oslo Beach resident
Originally from Pretoria, Pretorius is a business woman who is also a member of the South Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Oslo Beach resident Madeleine Pretorius is set to be honoured at the Influential Women Artes Awards 2024 at Sibaya Casino on July 7.
This comes after Pretorius was shortlisted as one of the Top 30 powerhouse women in South Africa.
Originally from Pretoria, Pretorius is a businesswoman and a member of the South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
She said the award will be the start of exciting times, saying that women in the business chamber will be empowered and mentored to create job opportunities and stimulate economic growth.
“I will host a Thai buffet Sunday for Tidy Towns in three settings on June 30. This will be aimed at raising much-needed funds for the ongoing incredible work by our local heroes, Tidy Towns. These funds will be handed over to Stephen Herbst at a gala dinner to show ongoing support as a member of the community,” she said.
Pretorius was recently announced as the brand ambassador for Influential Women in South Africa.
She is also an animal rights activist, speaker and author.
Pretorius said it is a dream come true, saying that she believes that her purpose is to make a difference in the lives of the people on the South Coast.
“I am humbled and grateful for the award,” she said.
