Winter warmth donation for hospice

Handmade knee blankets and beanies were received by Khanya Hospice.

The Khanya Hospice nursing staff is grateful for a recent donation of knee blankets and beanies.

This was made possible by the women of the Toti Methodist Church. People from far and near got their knitting and crocheting needles out for hospice and made these beautiful items for patients.

“Our patients are going to be very happy for this winter warmth donation,” said Thabile Dlamini, a nursing staff member.

“We often have to give food, toiletries and blankets as the area that we are working in is poverty-stricken. Many people are old and sick who just cannot afford much.”
