Tweni 2’s surf event this Saturday
Food and drinks will be sold all day at this community event which sponsors Tweni Tidy Towns and Ugu Surfriders.
Umtentweni Beach is once again the host of the sixth annual Tweni2’s pairs surfing competition this Saturday (11th).
This exhilarating and unique surf event sees teams of surfers battle it out in the water to crown the ultimate pair combination.
2024 has a new look after the first round surf pairs will either fight out for the grand prize or move into the super silver division.
The event promises exciting surf battles from many of the Springbok surfers and local surf heroes.
The music festival line-up starts at 12:30 and features The Zambucks, Tyron Roy, The Kickstands, Chewing the Hornet and DJs Chad Detroit, Hutch, Chief and Slado until late-o-clock.

Entrance to the Music Festival costs a mere R100, which is a small price for the Umtentweni Party of the Year.
