Sue and team win alliance

Rain washed out play at Southbroom Golf Club last Saturday but Wednesday’s comp went off fine.
The ladies section was won by Sue Kupisiewicz, Michelle van der Hoek, Sandy FitzGerald and Janet Lehmann on 90 points.

Runners-up were Shirley Jeffery, Anne Baldrey, Jeanette Peyios and Cynthia Daniels on 86 points.

In the men’s alliance, the winners were Gary Purtell, Graham Royston, Nicky Smith and Russell Mackenzie on 90 points.

Runners-up were Glenn Smith, Andrew Wager and Norman Jeffery on 87 points.

The Chicken Run last Friday was won by Brian Jolliffe on 18 points.
