The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will begin its annual rabies vaccination campaign in the mid-South Coast soon.
The vaccination is free of charge and is aimed at stopping the spread of rabies in the district.
Dates and times are as follows:
March 4 (Monday): Elysium, entrance park – 09:00 to 10:00
Ifafa Beach, near sports field – 11:00 to 14:30.
March 5 (Tuesday): Ghandinagar, community hall – 09:00 to 12:00.
Shayamoya, near community hall – 13:00 to 14:30.
March 6 (Wednesday): Long Beach, reception parking – 09:00 to 10:30.
Koel Waters, complex park – 12:00 to 14:00.
March 7 (Thursday): Scottburgh, flea market area – 09:00 to 12:00.
Pennington, tea garden – 13:00 to 15:00.
March 8 (Friday): Umzinto, near library entrance – 09:00 to 12:00.
Abrams Crest, informal settlement area – 13:00 to 14:30.
March 11 (Monday): Bazley, caravan park – 09:00 to 11:00.
Park Rynie, Pillay’s store parking area – 12:00 to 14:30.
March 12 (Tuesday): Sezela, Sezela school parking area – 09:00 to 12:00.
Esperanza, outside Illovo Mill offices – 13:00 to 14:00.
