Thai Poosam Kavady festival begins

Daily obayams will start at 6pm, on weekends (Saturday, January 20 and 27) at 3pm.

The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple invites devotees to their annual Thai Poosam Kavady Festival from January 16 to 28.
The flag hoisting was held on Tuesday this week.
Daily obayams will start at 6pm, on weekends (Saturday, January 20 and 27) at 3pm.
On Sunday, January 21, it will start at 6pm.

The temple chariot will proceed throughout the districts of Port Shepstone on Sunday, January 21 from 8.30am.
All kavady bookings were open to devotees from flag the hoisting day.
Thai Poosam Kavady will be observed on Thursday, January 25 from 12pm and the public kavady will be on Sunday, January 28 with hawan starting at 5.30am.

All devotees who wish to participate in the daily obayams are kindly requested to contact any of the executive members of the temple.
Supper and prasad will be served daily.
