Hashim bags President’s Cup
It was a wonderful time to connect, talk golf and just enjoy the day.
The President’s Cup at San Lameer Country Club is always a special occasion. It offers the best member on the day a chance to win a prestigious trophy, but also allows for visitors to compete alongside.
And it’s a day where former presidents are honoured and thanked for their contributions to the club over the years. A number of presidents from neighbouring clubs joined in for the day.
It was a wonderful time to connect, talk golf and just enjoy the day.
This year the competition was won by Hashim Bham on 36 points. He finished the day in seventh if you count the visitors.
Best score overall was recorded by Guilluame Strydom with 38 points, counting out Ettienne Steenkamp and Anton Botes.
Two players had 37 points, namely Johardt Swanepoel and Karin Steenkamp. Three players scored 36 points, Bernard Delport, Hashim Bham (as mentioned) and George Betts.
Nearest the pins were Arno Theron (4th), Jordan O’ Callaghan (14th) and Ross Holmes (16th).
