Forum thanks community heroes

Marburg CPF is positive that 2024 is going to be a better more productive year.

Marburg Community Police Forum (MCPF) recently hosted their year-end function where it was vowed that 2024 will be a year to never be forgotten, as they strive for a crime-free area.

Members from security companies, MCPF patrollers, police and chairpersons from all community police forums in the area were invited.

The function started off with a welcome and universal prayer, followed by a chairperson’s speech and thereafter patrollers were handed appreciation certificates.

Trophies were also handed to security officials who was most prominent for community service.

Fathima Moosa, chairperson of MCPF said ‘team work makes dream work’ and extended a heartfelt thanks to the industrial and commercial businesses who donated towards the function.

“Your contribution assisted us in making this function a success, and 2024 is going to be a better and more productive year.”

Fathima stressed that the non-profit forum is continually striving to keep the area safe and secure.
