The South Coast Herald is offering three of its readers an amazing opportunity to work on their golf game, with a free six-month course from PGA certified golf coach Richard Lyon.

The course, which normally costs R1500, provides club golfers with help in all areas of their game – not just, driving, putting, bunker shots and so on, but course management, mind control and stress reduction techniques as well.

It is open to any South Coast Herald reader with the following qualifications: you have to have an official handicap, you must have an email address and a mobile phone and you must be a member of a club that doesn’t have a resident PGA qualified coach.

“We want people who are genuinely enthusiastic about the game,” says Lyon, “but we are not in the business of interfering with other coaches’ students.”

The course consists of 25 weekly prompts, a regular personalised exercise regime, swing drills to work on and six personalized video lessons, all delivered to the golfer’s email address. It is open to golfers of all abilities and ages.

“We ask each of the students to send us a video of their swing each month, so we can tailor the lesson to their specific needs, and at the end they will then be able to see how much they have improved,” says Lyon.
