Success at Stingray gala for swimmers

A number of BOA swimmers will be competing in the KZN Premier Championships taking place from December 14 to 18.

Blue Ocean Aquatics attended the Stingrays gala in Richards Bay last Saturday, where conditions were very hot and windy. Despite this they outdid themselves.

Riley Solomon swam a Level 2 qualifying time, taking him up to the next level. He also won two gold medals and two bronze medals.

Leah Bunge improved on her times and came home with two silver and two bronze medals. Her sister Ella won two gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

Liam Venter won three gold medals and three silver medals plus one bronze medal, improving on five of his personal best times.

Kirsty Koegelenberg won two bronze medals at the meet and then teamed up with Riley, Ella and Liam to win the 4x50m mixed medley relay.
