New manager for SPCA charity shop

The shop is holding a half price clothing sale until the end of the week.

Amanzimtoti SPCA’s charity shop in Scottburgh has a new manager.
Trish Wilkes from Widenham took the reins in October and has since rearranged the shop creating a more spacious and friendly environment for customers.

She previously worked at the Kloof and Highway SPCA and stated that she has always been passionate about helping SPCA.

“I am an animal lover and I feel blessed to be in this position at the charity shop,” said Trish.
“As the new shop manager, I have a chance to do my share to help animals.”

Trish encourages locals and holidaymakers to donate to the charity shop this festive season. Anything in good working order will be accepted. The shop stocks clothing, toys, cutlery, crockery, records, pet accessories and so much more.

In order to raise even more funds this time of year, the shop is holding a half price clothing sale until December 9.
The shop is open Mondays to Fridays from 09:00 to 15:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00.

The public is also notified of the SPCA’s upcoming Christmas wrapping drive at Scottburgh Mall from December 15-24.

Volunteers are still needed to assist during morning/afternoon shifts and to generally help raise funds.
Should anyone be interested in volunteering or to find out more, contact Michelle Hannan at the Amanzimtoti SPCA on 031 9042424. You will then be put into contact with Trish.
