The Hibiscus Insurance Brokers sponsored mixed trips competition, which took place recently, was won on 4+25 by Richard van Waltsleven, Noelene Venter and Denton Duvel.
Runners-up, on 4+9, were Linda Mynhardt, Fred Hutchins and Alf Toy, while the second session prize was won by Tony Simpson, Moira Millard and Jean Thomassen on 2+6.
The end of the season prize-giving ceremony, which was very well attended, was held on November 22 to honour club bowlers for their achievements in the club championship competitions played this year.
Sandy Davis was the winner of the ladies’ singles open title and Len Brickhill, for the second successive year, the men’s open singles.
Annatjie Kidd and Hilary Holmes received their BSA Level 2 coaching certificates.
