Three wins for Bruce Matthew

It was quite a week of golf for the Southbroom stalwart.

Matthew brothers Derrik and Bruce won the competition at Southbroom Golf Club last Wednesday on 42 points.
Runners-up were Malcolm Greenland and Colin Mckay on 40 points, counting out Jack Moulder and Phil Verwey.

They were back at it again two days later, teaming up with Geoff Skelton and Graham Sole to win the Nashua business day on 86 points.

In second place on 84 points were Marius Santos, Christer Solgevik, Neill Crossey and Werner Duggan, counting out Gary Purtell, Jack Moulder, Guy Spittal and Nicky Smith.
Bruce made it a hat-trick on Saturday, winning the betterball with Kevin Daly on 40 points.

They did have some help from the countout with Peter Kupisiewicz and Bob Clark having to settle for second place.

In third spot on 38 points were Bruce Begley and Rob Meydell, with Bob O’Callaghan and Alex Crawford next on 36 points.
