Izotsha bags trophy for inter-school athletics

The U11A and B boys' soccer teams played against Margate Primary but were outshone by the Margate teams.

Izotsha Primary hosted boys’ hockey tournaments for Grades 1 – 3 recently.

The Foundation Phase participated in an inter-school athletics event hosted by Creston College. With consistent team effort, Izotsha secured an overall win. The school is extremely proud of age group winners: Jayden Joubert (Grade 1 boys) and Zanda Shabane (Grade 3 girls).

Grade 7s held their annual entrepreneurs market day. Learners wore civvies, to add to the fun-filled atmosphere. The day was successful with lots of goods and services for sale, with a lot of money changing hands. Grade 7s learnt a lot, enjoyed counting their money and calculating their overall profit/loss.

The U11A and B boys’ soccer teams played against Margate Primary. The teams played well but were outshone by Margate.

The school is proud of Ella Bunge who achieved a number of medals at the recent KZN Junior Swimming Champs. She achieved gold in the 200m medley, 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, 100m breaststroke, 100m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and silver in 200m freestyle, 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke. She was also the U12 age group winner.
