Winners of the Tweni Pharmacy men’s pairs on August 7 were Albert Munnik and Colin Abood.
Runners-up were Dumisani Madlala and Vernon Strauss. Session went to Peter Anderson and Frik van Rensburg.
The Caltex Fresh Stop mixed trips bowls was won by Dumisani Madladla, Mari Strauss and Vernon Strauss.
Runners-up were Robbie Duyts, Amanda Taylor and Rose Ludwig. Session went to Robert Singery, Rienie Blignault and Brian Merts.
THE BELL
The open trips played last week was sponsored by 3rd Avenue Restaurant. First place went to Nossie and Neil Patterson with Rienie Blignaut, and second to Keiron Dacey, Maureen Head and Steve O’Moore. In third were Astrid Jackson, Trevor Podmore and Rentie Stevens.
A fantastic bowls golf day was held on Woman’s Day sponsored by Mi7. The best ‘golfer’ for the day was Louw Brits.
HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Pharmacy Drawn Trips was won by Eddie Milne, Bubbles Bezuidenhout and Amanda Boucher. Second were Jan Oosthuizen, Div de Villiers and Helene Oosthuizen. In third were Albert Munnik, Bob Hayward and Hettie Nel.
Next Friday, August 18 there will be a Nominated trips competition sponsored by Gladiator.
MARGATE
The JL Panelbeaters Sponsored Open Trips was won by Gary Hess, Ron Vink and Mark Kassner. Runners-up were Manny Rodrigues, Donnovan Mulder and Louis Heystek.
Second session winners were Gerry Davey, Trevor Prinsloo and Rob Jackson with the lucky draw going to Dave van As.
