Tidy move to keep Hibberdene clean

In such a short period, Tidy Hibberdene has impressively made such a difference in keeping the town cleaner.

The tide is turning for the positive in the seaside town of Hibberdene.
Most recently, community members of Tidy Hibberdene challenged the Hibberdene Community Police Forum to clean-up the beach on a Saturday morning.

Picking-up litter on the beach are Dominique Breytenbach and Leandra Ras.

The two volunteer groups work hand-in-hand as a crime-and-clean-free town makes for a happier place for all, and it was fantastic to see residents on a mission to make a difference to their town.
Gill Crosbie and Karen Swart, the two passionate women behind Tidy Hibberdene started the movement about six months ago.

In such a short period, they impressively made such a difference in keeping the town cleaner.
During their last few clean-ups of the beach, the Tidy Hibberdene group has collected bags of glass bottles and rubbish from Hibberdene main beach

The group has wonderful and exciting plans to beautify the town, so stay tuned.
