Shelly Beach Methodist Church: Remember those around you
Jesus, in His own suffering, saw those around Him, and encouraged those who loved Him to not lose sight of each other.
Shelly Beach Methodist wishes all on the South Coast an Easter Holiday to remember. These holidays exist because Jesus was lifted up on a cross (crucified). Some of the words Jesus spoke from the cross were ‘Woman see your son! Son, see your Mother!’
When we are in a situation of great difficulty we are often so focused on the problem that we lose sight of those with us. Jesus, in His own suffering, saw those around Him, and encouraged those who loved Him to not lose sight of each other.
That is our message: Whatever place you find yourself in, do not lose sight of those around you.
This Easter we at Shelly Beach Methodist would love to see the people around us, and love for the people around us to see the church.
