Update: Five trucks involved in collision near Paddock – road has been reopened

Four people have been injured in a multi-truck collision on the N2, westbound, near Paddock this morning. The road has been closed and traffic is being diverted.

According to KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service, who responded to the incident, two are in a serious condition and two sustained minor injuries. “Upon arrival, we found that five trucks had been involved in the collision,” said spokesman Craig Botha. “The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment,” he said.
