Hive of activity at Sheppie High

On the sporting front, the rugby boys had a wonderfully competitive day against George Campbell.

As the first term of 2023 slowly draws to a close, Port Shepstone High School is still a hive of activity. The internal testing programme is going smoothly and learners have shown great dedication and earnestness when it comes to their assessments. The school’s motto of ‘Education for Life’ manages to prove why it is the foundational ethos for many of our learners’ successes.

On the sporting front, the rugby boys had a wonderfully competitive day against George Campbell last Saturday. The results are: U14: 5-5 (draw), U15: 19-0 (win), U16: 17-0 (win) and 1st XV: 15 -12 (loss).

Our phenomenal Sheppie High volleyball girls performed extremely well last Saturday. The girls played three games at the Westville League Tournament, winning them all before proceeding to the finals. It went to three sets, but they were unfortunately beaten by one point by Westville Girls’ High. Congratulations to all our sports coaches and dedicated learners who continue to give off their best, time and time again.
