PS Secondary’s volleyball teams outplay opposition

Port Shepstone Secondary's volleyball teams outplayed their opposition and cruised through the finals.

The first high schools’ volleyball knockout tournament was held at the Marburg volleyball courts last Saturday.

Port Shepstone Secondary’s over 16 volleyball boys team are (back, from left) Tyron Pillay, Yusuf Hoosen, Kylan Rangasamy, Thegan Naidoo, Mishen Anwanth, Kaylin Naidoo and Mageshan Govender, with Jordan Naidoo, Muhammed Shujjat, Darryn Manisunker and Layden Pillay in front.

The boys and girls under and over 16 divisions powered through and were crowned the overall champions.

The girls volleyball under 16 team are (back, from left) Lumka Mzelemu, Lusanda Shandu, Sinelizwi Madikizela, Naledi Nciki, Lethu Mazubane, Eureka Govender, Tiara Dawlat and Nokhukhanya Ngcobo, with Rizelle Pillay, Unathi Gigaba, Amber Little and Andiswa Ndwalane in front.

Congratulations to Port Shepstone Secondary volleyball teams and coaches, for maintaining top position in Ugu District.
