Crystal meth to street value of R30 000 seized
The man was arrested after an undercover operation.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs at Margate area last Friday, October 28.
Hawks members from Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime Investigation, working with Crime Intelligence, made the arrest.
Information was received about drug dealing activities in the area and an undercover operation was conducted.
Police spokesman Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo said the man was strategically engaged and found in possession of pure, oil-based crystal meth to the street value of R30 000.
He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged for dealing in drugs.
He is expected to appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court today (Monday).
