The Hope for Hospice tea held at Marburg Secondary was a wonderful success last Saturday.
Saroj Chellan, Hospice’s ambassador, who hosted the successful event, was given a painting, as a gift of appreciation.
Hospice Fundraiser, BT King said the painting depicting a ship on stormy seas, was very apt, as Chellan together with the community has helped Hospice during many storms and rough seas.
King added that Chellan is the ‘lighthouse’.
“South Coast Hospice is so privileged to have served our community for nearly 40 years,” said King.
King thanked everyone, the sponsors and all concerned, for supporting the The Hope for Hospice tea.
