Amapiano artist releases new song

It was a dream to come and live on the South Coast

Formerly of Ladysmith, Amapiano music artist Telita Tyla Abraham, also known as ‘Queen T’ is excited to have relocated to the South Coast.

She moved to the coast eight months ago before releasing her new hit song, ‘Mamgobhozi’ which tells the story about her life in Ladysmith and how people always stuck their noses in her business.

Queen T said as a young girl, her family visited the South Coast on holiday and her dream was to live in the area one day. “I loved it since then,” she said.

“Growing up in a small town was not ideal for me as it limits one’s way of thinking. Relocating was the best decision I ever made with regard to my career and my life.”

The 28-year-old said her love for music started at a young age, as she was dancing to music before she could even talk.

“From dancing, I grew a love for music, the likes of Mariah Carey, my favourite singer and inspiration,” she added.

Besides her love for music, Queen T is a forex trader and is looking to pursue music production and deejaying.

“My producer for Mamgobhozi is ‘Jashmir’. I have previously released two songs, ‘All over the world’ and ‘Love Lives Here’ which are available on music streaming services.

In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends.

“I love going out and having a good time. I fish, travel and make videos. My goal is to be an award-winning artist and to have a record label.

“My biggest support comes from God. I am where I am today because of him. My parents and family have also supported me and stood by me from the beginning, motivating me. I am excited about the new release and I feel that it will be a hit, because of the amazing beat and that many people can relate to the lyrics.”
