Musical tale comes to Wild Coast Sun

The duo will invoke emotional melodies set in the winter of 1656.

The Music Story, a classical music item will ignite the Tropical Nites Theatre at Wild Coast Sun on Saturday, July 30 at 16:00.

It’s presented by Luthando Madikizela of Bizana.

He’s an up-and-coming opera musician currently based in Gauteng who is using this opportunity to showcase in his hometown.

He’s brought on board colleagues and future stars who share his love for music, and who are pursuing a career in it.

Luthando complemented the show by bringing in Neo Motsatse on the violin, who started played at the age of six.

She’s a versatile musician who plays classical fusion, mixing classical, popular, gypsy and South African sounds.

The two musicians will invoke emotional melodies set in the winter of 1656.

The artistic duo will harmonise with pieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Schubert, Jules Massenet, Aram Khachaturian, Astor Piazolla, Salvato Cardillo, César Franck, Joe Darion and Mitch Leigh, to mention a few.

“I am inspired by the words of Louis Armstrong, music is life itself,” says Luthando.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticketpro.
