Raising awareness on gender-based violence
Police held the awareness campaign in Masinenge.
Margate police recently conducted at gender-based violence awareness campaign in Masinenge.
According to Margate police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane, residents of Masinenge Informal settlement were both delighted and surprised when members of SAPS Margate, Youth Desk, and volunteers from Community Safety and Liaison visited them to create awareness on gender-based violence, child protection, and substance abuse.
Ncane said residents were also reminded to report criminal activities in their area.
