A man was nabbed with 1500 capsules of heroin and cash at KwaXaba in Gamalakhe.
On Tuesday this week, members at Saps Gamalakhe responded to information of drugs at KwaXaba.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said that on seeing police the suspect tried to flee.
He was taken into custody and will appear in court on a charge of possession of drugs.
Acting Station Commander Captain Zanovuyo Qwebane commended Sergeant Dawie Malan and Constables Sifiso Mpofana and Mzomuhle Shange for making the arrest.
