Her aunt Kerryn-Rae Steyn said Rae cried a little bit and then distracted herself with the toy/gifts she received.

Rae will be living in Pretoria with Anthea.

“Rae is limping a bit because of the cut in her groin and a swollen ankle. Stitches came out on Tuesday. She said she has no pain which is amazing if you see the cut/wound,” she added.

Kerryn-Rae said she told Rae she has fans and supporters, and she replied: “I don’t want to be famous.”

Kerryn-Rae says she doesn’t talk about the accident or about her dad and sister, yet.

They are hoping to start counselling with Rae soon.
