Rotary rallies to reestablish Sheppie Boy Scouts

All training, mentoring and resources will be provided by Scouts SA to equip and support volunteers.

The Rotary Club of Port Shepstone aims to revive the First Port Shepstone Boy Scouts Group and is looking for volunteers, parents and ex-scouters to support them in growing the South Coast area.

“We have, to date, completed the re-registration documents with Scouts South Africa, established a venue for our meetings, and have engaged with a few interested leaders,” said Rotary president Shamin Maharaj.

“We extend an invitation to anyone who may be interested and willing to join this new and exciting initiative to contact us.”

All training, mentoring and resources will be provided by Scouts SA to equip and support volunteers.

For more information, or to enlist your support, contact Ronald Mark on 082 8238192, Morgan Naidoo on 076 2389826 or Shamin on 072 3159683.

The first meeting will be held on Saturday, May 7.
