Sea Park Serial Rapist: Woman speaks out after fighting off attacker

The woman was attacked last night (Sunday), by the same man she believes is wanted by police.

A woman (30) narrowly escaped an attack in Louisiana, inland from Sea Park, last night (February 13).

Louisiana is about a 10 minute drive (5.8 kilometres) from Sea Park.

Speaking to the Herald, the woman said the man approached her while she was standing outside a shop in Louisiana.

The man had come from the direction of Madlala. He came up to me, touched my hand and said to me: “I want to sleep with you.”

She said, he then produced a knife and tried to pull her into the bushes.

The woman involved in Sunday night’s attack in Louisiana said the man had a knife similar to the one in this photo.

The brave woman fought him off by kicking him in his private parts and running towards the mosque, as the area was lit-up.

“I ran towards the mosque as there were lights and he wouldn’t follow me,” she said.

The woman told the Herald, that her attacker said to her in isiXhosa: “It’s just the beginning, we haven’t seen anything yet.”

She said he was wearing jeans, a grey T-shirt and had a cream/white hat on. He was dark in complexion, had small eyes and was average in height.

“He was the same person in the identikit that I have seen in the news. I would never mistake that face,” she said.

According to private investigator Brad Nathanson – the man has been described by his victims as:

1. He is around 5’8, stocky build
2. He is armed. He may have more than one weapon. One may be a replica but treat it as real.
3. He takes food when he leaves, food to last.
4. He took a kettle on February 8. He must have electricity.
5. He smells clean. He must have access to a shower/soap.
6. His clothes are clean.
7. His head is clean shaven but he likes to wear a beanie.
8. He is athletic. He runs like a gazelle.
9. Barefoot.

A reward of R20 000 has been offered for any information that will lead to the arrest of what appears to be a serial rapist and criminal responsible for various crimes committed in Sea Park recently.
