Comment required from Tweni Tennis Club members

Members are reminded to go through the draft constitution and submit their comments and/or suggestions to Jean Marx before November 25.

A wonderful turnout of members along with visitors, Wayne Hartogh, Dylan Kroon, Prevan Moodley and Mark Hannaway, kept the courts fully occupied at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday.

All six courts were utilised and members look forward to seeing these visitors again soon.

Members are reminded to go through the draft constitution and submit their comments and/or suggestions to Jean Marx before November 25 as the re-convened Special General Meeting will be held on November 28 at 4pm.

Remember, too, to get your entries in for the Ugu Pro-Kennex National Seniors’ Tournament asap.

The entry procedure is up at the club and has also been e-mailed to members.

After five weeks of rain on Mondays, the ladies’ group which plays on Monday mornings was very pleased to be back in action.

At least now Geraldine Lange won’t have to hang up her racquet.

Members wish Gerald Bunge all the best as he returns to Dundee – he will be sadly missed on the courts.

Saturday duty: November 21 – Sally Pillay; November 28 – Lynne Rorich.
