PSSec is a knockout at tournament

The tournament at the Marburg Sports Complex was eagerly anticipated by all players.

PORT Shepstone Secondary took part in the volleyball knockout tournament held at the Marburg Sports Complex last Saturday.

Congratulations to the U16 boys’ A team who won all matches in the round robin stage. Solid digs, inch-perfect sets and an arsenal of thunderous spikes and sneaky dumps saw the A team overwhelm the Sheppie Secondary B team in the semi-final.

In the final match, the superior PS Secondary A team launched a sporadic attack against Marsec A. Intensive training and switching to the ‘man-down’ game strategy certainly paid off.

The legendary O16 girls’ team were outright winners and the U16 girls fought bravely, but succumbed to Marsec in the semi-final stage.

Fielding a makeshift team, the O16 boys thrilled spectators with some dazzling play, but fell out in the round robin stage.
