RA Engar Primary School held its annual awards day in the school hall last Thursday.
Pupils who excelled academically and on the sports field were recognised for sterling achievements.
The function was well-attended and parents beamed with pride as they watched their children being rewarded for their efforts.

Guest speaker Precious Zithumane urged pupils to persevere in their studies, but more especially encouraged the girls to empower themselves through education.
The coveted dux of 2019 award was scooped up by Jezelle Govender.
The prestigious good fellowship award went to Snothando Mahashe, while Onelihle Shange and Anathi Hlongwa took the sports boy and sports girl awards respectively.
All sponsors are sincerely thanked for their contributions which helped to make the event such a success.
The school congratulates all winners and bids a fond farewell to all gr 7 pupils.
