Sheppie author inspires with debut offering

Port Shepstone-born author Silindile Mkhize (26) has launched her debut book of devotions titled ‘The Power of Words’.

Silindile says the inspiration for the book came from her conversations and journey of faith.

So sure is she of the power of the book, she told one young woman to read it and, if she did not find it motivating an uplifting, she could return it for a full refund.

The book was not returned.

Silindile plans to continue to inspire those around her through listening and communicating messages stemming from her faith.

Delighted guests at Silindile Mkhize’s recent book launch, which took place at the Hilton Hotel in Durban.

Her passion for the empowerment of women, business and now writing will be invaluable as she works on future books.

She will hold a book signing at Zuri Beach in Margate on Saturday, November 23 from 1pm to 3pm.
