Jai Hind raises funds

The school sincerely thanks Bread of Heaven for the sandwiches delivered to the school on a daily basis.

A large contingent of parents attended Jai Hind Primary’s very successful 2020 orientation programme for grades R and 1 last week.

Since gr 1 is a particularly challenging year, it is hoped that the advice and information shared will make the 2020 academic year a stress-free one for all parents.

The programme assists parents and pupils to familiarise themselves with school routines, the code of conduct and curriculum.

As part of a fund raising initiative, staff and pupils raised a substantial amount for Bread of Heaven.

A cheque for R3 033 was handed over to Gordon Michael. The school sincerely thanks the organisation for the sandwiches delivered to the school on a daily basis.

Parents are advised that regular pupil attendance is very important as final examinations commence on November 8.

They are encouraged to assist their children draw up a study timetable and begin daily revision.
