Joy scores a hat-trick for Hibiscus Kennel Club

Trainers are always in attendance no matter how many members pitch up.

CONGRATULATIONS to three Hibiscus Kennel Club members who attended the Champion Show recently. They all did exceedingly well and as the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding.

Results: Carting, standard senior, first, Joy Botha and Nala; second, Joy Botha and Murphy; third, Joy Botha and Jessie. Agility, grade 2, first Beryl Verwoerd and Spice; grade 3, first Gaby Frey and Scooby. Non-contact agility, grade 2, first Beryl Verwoerd and Spice; grade 3, first Gaby Frey and Scooby. Dog jumping, grade 2, first Beryl Verwoerd and Spice; grade 6, first Gaby Frey and Scooby.

All members are reminded that the club has now moved into the winter training time, which means that training starts at 2pm with orientation and beginner’s agility. Obedience starts at 3pm and advanced agility at 4pm.

We welcome all new members and also say goodbye to members who have relocated and hope they find clubs in their areas so that they can continue the good work they have started.

For more information about the club, contact the training coordinator Sharon Derman at 073 6014622.
