JUST IN: Mother and son found dead in their Gamalakhe home
The bodies were found in one of the rooms, covered with blankets.
An elderly woman and her son were found dead in their Gamalakhe home earlier today after neighbours, concerned at the stench emanating from the house, alerted police.

Reports from the scene indicate that police found the house locked, although several items, including cell phones, had been stolen from the property. The man’s car was also missing.
The bodies were found in one of the rooms, covered with blankets.
Margate police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said that at this stage an inquest docket would be opened.
