A man (40) and woman (27) were found dead on Monday morning after they had apparently been hijacked.
The man’s body was found near the roadside in the Enkangala area in Umkomaas at 6.30am. He had been shot several times in the upper body.
The woman’s body was found in the bush in C Section, Folweni at 9.45am. She had been shot in the head.

The couple is believed to have been travelling in a grey Mazda 5 which has not yet been recovered.
Cases of murder and hijacking were opened at the Umkomaas and Folweni police stations for further investigation.
