Port Shepstone Senior Primary scrutinises careers

Pupils who had thoroughly researched their anticipated careers presented their findings.

Port Shepstone Senior Primary held a highly successful gr 7 ‘Career Day’ last Wednesday.

Pupils took the theme very seriously and arrived at school in their ‘work’ attire.

A special programme was held and various pupils who had thoroughly researched their anticipated careers presented their findings to make fellow pupils aware of critical subject choices.

They shared information and facts about future opportunities.

The extra-mural programme has commenced in earnest and remedial lessons are once again on offer for pupils who are struggling with mathematics.

Parents whose children have been identified are reminded to encourage attendance at these important after-school lessons, which have helped many pupils cope with maths challenges in the past.

Important dates to diarise in November are: Exam commencement – 6th; AGM/budget meeting – 14th; awards day – 21st.
