Middleton remains in custody

Businessman Dave Middleton has lost three contracts while in custody.

THE case against officer Dave Middleton (58) from Hibiscus Coast Protection Services, has been postponed to December 19, for Magistrate Piet Coetzer to make a bail decision on new facts brought before the court.

Mr Middleton appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Thursday) looking weak. He faces numerous charges, including rape and intimidation.

His attorney, Larrry Seethal, presented new facts, including that Mr Middleton had lost his rental car company, security company and restaurant contracts. He also mentioned that as from December 15, Mr Middleton will be unemployed. None of Mr Middleton’s family members or colleagues were present in court.
