Track events were held at Marburg Secondary recently and team spirit continued with the encouragement of parents and supporters. The shuttle relay is a new event that caused much excitement and Yasmeen and Wardah houses both displayed strong defences.  The ultimate event winner was Yasmeen. Azme Niswaan Pre-school athletes displayed talent in a variety of events.

Afsana Ally (gr 6) won the victrix ludorum while Salmaan Desai (gr 6) and Muhammed Desai (gr 11) took the victor ludorum trophy. Spectators’ tents were packed to capacity and the refreshment kiosk was efficiently managed by dedicated parents. Once again ‘hats off’ to parents, well-wishers, sponsors, teachers and pupils for their contribution towards a spectacular sports day.
