Only one day lost to rain at Margate County Club
Thursday's competition at Margate Country Club was rained out.
MARGATE Country Club’s Women’s Pro Shop Individual Stableford competition on Tuesday, March 7 was won by Evelyn Burls on 39 pts from Sandi Johnston, on 38 pts, counting out Freidl Kotzbauer into third place, with Agnes Speilmann fourth on 36 pts.
Wednesday saw the Wobblers play a three-ball alliance for the Arthur Tomlinson Floater.
Results: 1 Wimpie Jordaan, Piet Pretorius, Dave Morrison, 88 pts; 2 Hanz Dallinger plus pivots, Doug Douglas, oco 86 pts; 3 Nico van Vuuren, Derek Egerton, Alan Davies, 86 pts.
Thursday’s competition was rained out.
The ‘Super Saturday’ betterball Stableford sponsored by Wild Coast Sun was won by Hans van der Walt and Peter McCarthy on 47 pts.

Second-placed John Rudling and Vusi Maphamulo counted out Arthur Ehlert and James Tutt, both pairs on 46 pts.
