THE word ‘cannabis’ tends to evoke rather strong emotions when mentioned.
As in, are you for or against? Perhaps not quite as intense as the Trump situation in the United States, but a hot topic nonetheless.
And it seems that it’s not far off being legalised for medicinal purposes in South Africa.
Some would suggest it should be made legal for recreational use, too.
Others see it completely differently and say ‘no’.
While there’s no doubt certain drugs are extremely harmful to a person’s body and mind, there’s rabid debate over how much ‘smoking weed’ really affects a person.
For now though, it’s wisest to obey the law.
