Update: Ugu mayor to be laid to rest
A memorial service will be held this Tuesday, December 27.
FUNERAL arrangements for late Ugu District municipality mayor and ANC Lower South Coast Region chairman, Obert Tolomane Mnyayiza are as follows:
The memorial service will be held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre Hall on Tuesday, December 27 at 10am. He will be laid to rest at Ngobozane village in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape on Friday, December 30.
Councillor Mnyayiza (44) died on Wednesday in hospital after being ill for some time.
His passing has been described as a tremendous blow to the ANC, his family, colleagues and friends.
