PSHS sports results show promise

Golf has been reintroduced at the school and players are showing great potential.

SHEPPIE High’s cricket teams were on a winning streak last week with the U14 team winning their game by 7 wickets against Amanzimtoti High and the first team winning theirs by 6 wickets against the SKZN district team.

The school hosted a girls’ first team water polo tournament last Saturday in which most of the top KZN schools took part. PSHS placed fourth overall.

Golf has been reintroduced at the school and players are showing great potential. At a recent tournament, James Coull placed fourth and Chris Massey eighth in a field of 30 players.

In the basketball game against St Benedict recently, both the U15 and first teams won their games convincingly. The U15 team won 18-8 and the first team 100-17.

Girls’ and boys’ touch rugby first teams played in Durban recently. The girls’ team beat Hillcrest 3-2 and the boys beat Clifton 1-0, and St Benedict 2-1.
