Scott Street targeted again

Two other business owners reported being visited by three men who, they say, made them feel 'uneasy'.

SCOTTBURGH’s  Scott Street thieves struck again last week.

Three men went into an estate agency office under the pretense of purchasing a property.

“One of the three agency employees went outside to show one of the men the property advertisements displayed on the office window. The other two men remained in the office with the other staff members,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.

Having concluded their ‘business’, the three men left.

When the employee returned to her desk, she was shocked to discover her laptop had been stolen.

Despite the SAPS’ immediate response, the suspects could not be found.

Two other business owners reported that they were visited by three ‘odd’ men who, they said, made them feel uneasy.

The case is being investigated by Detective Warrant Officer Peter Hattingh of the Scottburgh SAPS Detective Service, who may be contacted at 039 9781900/9918.
