Tuesday Rostrum slips into 2016 on cannabis oil

Hear what guest speaker Greg Woolley has to say about cannabis oil.

TUESDAY Rostrum has always provided its members with plenty of food for thought and it has never shied away from controversy.

The ‘thinking woman’s club’ will therefore start the year with a somewhat controversial subject to get everyone thinking and talking after its January recess.

The first meeting of the year will be held at Mbango on Tuesday, February 9 at noon for 12.15pm. Guest speaker will be Greg Woolley and he will discuss the much talked about health benefits that cannabis essential oil is claimed to have.

Greg is not going to court argument. He simply wants to put his point across and to discuss his research and opinions on the subject. Whatever you think about the subject you are sure to find his talk interesting.

Cannabis essential oil has been in the news regarding its supposed medical applications. It is said to reduce stress and anxiety, improve quality of sleep, boost the appetite, reduce pain, prevent and even to cure cancer. However, because cannabis is used as a recreational drug and has been outlawed in many counties, its use as a medical drug is often frowned upon. The ramifications of the drug’s illegal status have complicated its use and supply, as well.

As with any alternate therapy, it is bound to have supporters and detractors who will have strong feelings about the subject. Before you make up your mind come and hear what Greg has to say.

Guests – men as well as women – are welcome. To book, contact Denise Millar at 039 3172600.
