Bogus cops rob pensioner
The police impersonators fled with the pensioner's money.
FOUR fake policemen armed with sticks kicked down the door of 74-year-old woman’s home in Gcilima at about 3am last Saturday morning.
Captain Gerald Mfeka said the woman heard knocking at the door.
“Terrified, she kept quiet and the men then kicked their way in. They said they were policemen and demanded she hand over her pension money.”
She tried to convince them she was broke, but they searched her bed and found the R1 300 pension money she had just been paid out.
