Port Shepstone Country Club celebrates centenary in style

100 up, and still going strong.

THE Port Shepstone Country Club hosted its very special centenary dinner last Saturday evening with over 90 members in attendance.

Club president John Beekman delivered the opening speech to welcome everyone and master of ceremonies, Gordon Dickson, did an excellent job throughout the evening.

The Saffron Chefs’ three-course meal was delightfully presented and the food was excellent.

After dinner, Bevis Fairbrother had the tremendously difficult job of setting the scene for a ‘chat style’ evening, interviewing various people throughout the evening, getting details on the history of the club, as well as some amusing anecdotes!
