More dagga plants destroyed

The plants were found in a field in the rural area near Southport.

DURING an intelligence driven operation at Madlala, near Southport last Thursday, 193 dagga plants were confiscated and destroyed.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Christo Mostert, Lieutenant Sam Naicker and officers from Enviro Watch were part of the operation.
“The plants were found in a field in the rural area,” she said. No arrests have been made.
